Dr D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pune was established as Dr D.Y. Patil Women's Institute of Technology in July 1998, changed its name in the academic year 2002-2003. DIT institute was also converted into a Co-education Institute. Dr D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology is situated in the vicinity of one of the biggest industrial belts in Asia i.e. the Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune industrial belt.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure

All the candidates passed/appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2021-2022. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2020-2021.

Bachelor of Engineering	The Candidate should be an Indian National. HSC. (Science) Passed Student with subjects PMC/B, Open Category obtained at least 50% in PM+C/B, Reserved Category (MH Candidate) obtained at least 45% in PM+C/B, Obtained score in MHT-CET 2018 (PCM)/JEE (Main) 2018 Paper I. *Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC, B.Sc. Candidate should have passed XII standard with Maths a subject, Open Category obtained at least 50%, Reserved Category (MH Candidate) obtained at least 45%.
Master of Engineering	The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the concerned field with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institution. Final admission will be based on the score of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
