DIT University, Dehradun was established by Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji under the Government of Uttarakhand Act in the year 1998. Formerly known as Dehradun Institute of Technology, the university is the centre for global standards of studies providing quality of education to students. The University is approved by AICTE, PCI, COA, and UGC. The University is spread in an area of 21 acres which includes hostels for boys and girls. The University provides numerous placements opportunities.

The DIT University Admission can be done online on the official website of the university. The University offers a total of 79 programs which include 10 diploma programs, 42 undergraduate courses, 14 postgraduate courses and 13 doctoral courses. These programs are offered in the fields of pharmacy, engineering, management, and architecture. The University has collaborations with many top companies, professional bodies and foreign universities.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure

The university has specified some standards for the conditions that needed to be satisfied by the candidates to be shortlisted for the selections. Below is the list of eligibility criteria for the varied courses offered by the university:

Diploma in Pharmacy	The applicant should have scored a minimum 50% aggregate in 12th from any recognised university.
B.Tech	The ward should have scored a minimum 60% aggregate in 10th and 60% aggregate in 12th with 60% in physics/ chemistry/ maths/ biology.
B.Arch	The candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in class 10 and 10+2 with a pass in Maths [compulsory subject] & qualified in any Aptitude Test approved by Council of Architecture, or, The candidates may have passed 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central/ State Govts with 60% aggregate marks with Mathematics. Candidates with valid NATA and JEE Main Scorecards are also eligible.
B.Design	The applicant should have scored minimum 50% aggregate in 12th
B.Pharm	Candidates must have a minimum 50% marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Bio-Science from a recognized board.
B.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice)	The ward must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised University with 50% marks in aggregate, with four years of work experience.
B.Pharm {Lateral Entry}	Candidates should have at least 50% marks in Diploma.
B.Sc [Hons.]	The applicant must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board with 50% marks in aggregate and should have taken Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as subjects.
BCA	The ward must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board with 50% marks in aggregate, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
BA [Hons.]	The candidates must have passed 10+2, or equivalent in any stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
BDes	The candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board with 50% marks in aggregate.
MBA	The applicant should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate throughout in 10th, 12th and graduation with valid CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT score.
MCA	The candidate should have scored minimum 5o% aggregate in BCA/ B.Sc
M.Pharm	The ward should have obtained minimum 50% aggregate in B.Pharm
M.Sc	The candidates should have completed B.Sc with 60% aggregate
MTech	The applicant must have completed their BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in the relevant stream from a recognized University, with at least 55%. Candidates with valid scores in GATE/ NET are preferred.
Ph.D	The candidates should have scored 55% aggregate or CGPA not less than 6 on the scale of 10 in a relevant degree from a recognized institution. NET/ SRF/ GATE qualified students shall be preferred.
PG Diploma	The applicant must have passed with at least 55% in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc [PCM/ PCB] from a recognized University, or Should have 3 years diploma and 5 years of industrial experience
