SRM University Chennai is a deemed university as per the University Grants Commission. SRM stands for Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute. It is considered to be among the top universities in India. SRM University 2021 Admission Process & SRM University Admission 2021: SRMJEEE

The candidates can check below the process which the candidates have to follow to be able to take admission in SRM University. The candidates do not have to apply separately for admission in the campuses of SRM. The process is common for admission in all the courses and campuses.

1. *   Select Course: SRM University application form can be filled online
2. *   Check eligibility: Application forms along with the fee of INR 1100 can be submitted online
3. *   Select mode of admission: Duly filled-in form along with the DD of the required fee can also be submitted
4. *   Register The candidates can then register for filling the SRM University 2021 Application form for admission.
5. *   Fill the application form: Next, the candidates have to fill in the application form with all the correct information
6. *   Appear for the selection process: Appear in the entrance exam/Counselling/PI etc. as per the course’s demand.
7. *   Check Result: The candidates can then check the result of their selection online. If they are selected then the         candidates need to pay the admission fee and confirm their admission to the University.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, formerly known as SRM University, is a private deemed to be university which offers various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) & Doctoral courses across all its campuses.

At present, SRM University has four major campuses and the courses are offered in diverse streams such as Engineering, Architecture, Health Sciences and Management. Usually, the registration process commences in the month of September every year and admission is done on the basis of different entrance tests conducted by the university. Students can apply for any of the university campuses located at Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Amravati (Andhra Pradesh) & Sikkim.

1. 1   SRMJEEE is conducted by the university for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech programs.
2. 2   Last Date to fill out SRMJEEE Application form is March 30, 2021.
3. 3   Selection of candidates for B.Arch, M.Arch is done on the basis of NATA scores.
4. 4   In case of MBA, candidates are shortlisted through SRMJEEM conducted by the univesity.
5. 5   Admission to MBBS, BDS is done on the basis of NEET marks.
6. 6   For MD/ MS admission, NEET PG scores are considered.
7. 7   Selectiom to rest of the UG, PG medical courses is done through SRMJEEH or qualifying exam marks.
8. 8   Candidates will be shortlisted for the UG, PG and Diploma programs based on qualifying examination marks.
9. 9   For Ph.D, admission are done through university entrance examination followed by presentation and interview.
10. 10   SRM University application form can be filled online or offline through the official university website.
11. 11   Application forms along with the fee of INR 1100 can be submitted online through the official website.
12. 12   Duly filled-in form along with the DD of the required fee can also be submitted offline to the university office.

Final admission is granted on the basis of merit in the entrance test & rank obtained in the qualifying examination followed by the counselling process. Students can login through the student’s login portal by providing their registration number cum login ID to check the status of their application & seat allotment process.

SRM University B.Tech Admission 2021

At present, SRM University offers B.Tech under various specializations at all of its campuses. For admission to B.Tech, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in SRMJEEE (UG), conducted by the university.

SRMJEEE (UG)

SRMJEEE Exam Pattern: It is a computer based test of 150 minutes duration. The bifurcation of test sections is as follows:

SRMJEEE Slot Booking: As SRMJEEE is an online exam, students have to book their exam slot after applying to SRM University. It will offer them the chance to select the date & time slot as per their convenience. Eligible students will be informed about slot booking on their registered e-mail ID & mobile number.

SRM University Student Login: Students can visit the official website of SRM University to check the status of their application form, SRMJEEE result & counselling details. With the help of login ID, students can download their score card & status of their application form along with the counselling cum seat allotment status.

SRM University B.Arch & B.Design Admission 2021

At the undergraduate level, SRM University offers B.Arch and B.Design along with B.Tech program. Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with Mathematics as a subject. In case of B.Design, candidates should have passed 12th with at least 55% marks. Admission to B.Arch program is done on the basis of marks scored in NATA examination whereas candidates are shortlisted for B.Design on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination.

SRM University Placements: SRM University has an excellent placement record of graduating engineers with reputed companies. The Placement Cell is responsible for all the placement activities.
