  • UPES fee structure for B.Tech is around INR 193000 per annum to INR 207500 per annum depending upon the specialization
  • UPES Dehradun fees for B.Des is between INR 198500 - INR 249000 for all four years
  • UPES Dehradun fee structure for LLM is INR 145000 per annum

UPES Scholarships:


University of Petroleum and Energy Studies offers scholarships based on the type of course. The scholarships are offered for almost every course provided by the university. The eligibility and the percentage of the UPES Scholarship offered on the tuition fee vary according to the course. The scholarships offered by the university are: 


Scholarships for B.Tech:

UPES college offers a 50% tuition fee waiver on 10% seats in each program of B.Tech in the first year for CBSE, ICSE & State board pass out students. The candidates need to have a minimum of 80% marks in 10th and 12th standard with 80% in PCM to avail this scholarship. The award is totally based on merit.


Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers:

The scholarship is provided to one seat per program attained in merit. The seats allocated under the program includes the 15% reservation of Uttarakhand resident students provided he/ she has the domicile certificate. A tuition fee waiver of 25% for boys and 35% for girls is provided.


Special Scholarships:

The special scholarship is provided to B.Tech students topping in JEE and Board Exams. A total of 15 scholarships are provided with a tuition fee waiver from 75% to 100% based on the marks secured.

  • The candidates must have minimum 50% aggregate at the 10th and 10+2 examination with PCM/ B and English as major subjects.
  • The candidates will have to appear in UPES-PAT for selection
B.Sc [Food, Nutrition and Dietetics]/ B.Sc [Hons.]
  • The candidates should have passed 10th and 12th standard with a minimum aggregate of 50% having Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Tech + English as a primary subject.
D.Pharma
  • The applicant must have scored a minimum of 50% in the higher secondary with English, Physics, and Chemistry as major subjects.
Ph.D [Management]/ [Engineering]/ [Law]/ [Science]
  • Candidates shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% aggregate or its equivalent.
  • A relaxation of 5%, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently abled and other categories of candidates.
  • The candidates will have to go through a Research Entrance Test [RET]
